We are so excited to announce the 2024 Utah Days of '47 Young Guns Rodeo Information!
Rodeos will be July 19, 20, 22, & 23rd
Sign-ups start June 1st at 8:00 am MST
Timed events and Rough Stock events will be held at Oakley Recreation Complex, 4300 UT-32, Kamas, UT 84036. Each event will be paid 4 places for a total of $1500 payout/event. The events will be Bull Riding (6-18), Bareback (6-18), Saddle Bronc (6-18), Barrels and Breakaway boys and girls (13 & Under), Barrels and Breakaway girls only (14-18), Calf Tie boys only (14-18), and Team Roping (6-18).
On July 19th and 20th the 1st place contestants for Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, and Bareback; on the 22nd the younger age of Barrels and Breakaway, Calf Tie and Team Roping; and on the 23rd the older age group of Barrels and Breakaway, Calf Tie and Team Roping will perform at the Utah Days of '47 Rodeo in SLC with the PRCA cowboys and WPRA cowgirls! All winners for each event will receive their buckles on the stage at the Days of '47 Rodeo that evening.
Something that is different this year... ** Contestants can sign up 2 times for the Team Roping only if they switch ends or switch partners and contestants cannot sign up for their age group plus the older age group unless the older age group is not filled up after sign ups are closed.
Contestants may sign up for all 4 Days! If you are keeping your horses at the facility overnight, you must sign up and pay for stalls during sign ups.
There will be $60,000 in payouts and 40 first place buckles for the 4 days! With your entry free you will receive 3 tickets to the Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo that night. This is such a fun event and a great opportunity! Days will be filling up fast!
